Hey!
As someone who is temporarily living in Texas, I obviously always think about extending my Ranch (models).
Is it possible to
- combine two Ranch-generated lists of models
or
- add some hand-made models to a Ranch-generated list of models
and give these extended model lists to gajoe to choose from?
many thanks for any suggestions!
Greetings from Texas
Stefan

Hi Stefan

One can use models generated by other methods as well as combine models. You can
find more information about it here:
http://www.embl-hamburg.de/ExternalInfo/Research/Sax/manual_eom.html
Check section "Using models made by other methods"

Cheers

Hi Alex,

thanks for your reply!
You are right, the manual indeed infers a way to combine personal models with RANCH models:
1) use RANCH in the command line mode, specify option /t to write out all files.
2) then add your other pdb files, or another list of RANCH files to these RANCH files (make sure the numbering is continuous!) and then follow the instructions to "Using models made by other methods" for the combined array of pdb files.

Cheers
Stefan
