EMBO Practical Course on Solution Scattering from Biological Macromolecules
The practical course took place at EMBL Hamburg, Germany from October 19 to 26, 2008. 26 participants and 14 speakers from 19 countries took part in the course.

The annual meeting took place in Graz, Austria on February 15, 2008.

December 21, 2007
DORIS Shutdown 2008
Due to Petra-III construction work, the DESY DORIS-III ring in Hamburg will be shut down from December 21, 2007 for about 9 months. The operation of all beamlines including X33 (BioSAXS) will be suspended for this period. We expect to resume user operation in late September, 2008.

BIOSAS 2007: Practical Course on Biomacromolecules in Solution Studied by Small-Angle Scattering
The practical course took place at University of Copenhagen, Danmark and in MAX-Lab, Lund, Sweden from November 25 to 30, 2007. It was followed by the Workshop on Biomacromolecules in Solution Studied by SAXS.
