Re: Help with GNOM/Gasbor

What i meant to say is that if its necessary to increase the whole range of data when calculating the pair distance distribution. Autognom gives the best quality estimate but does truncate the data.

Re: Help with GNOM/Gasbor

Thank you AL,
You have no idea how much this has helped.
But I have a question, is it absolutely necessary to "Increase the last point of 'Range' such that the whole experimental data are displayed". My data is pretty noisy at high q. What do you recommend?

Choosing right concentrations

Hello Friends I plan on performing some saxs experiments at my university. We are equipped with a xeuss 2.0 machine with 1.54 angstrom wavelegth. I plan on measuring Human serum albumin, 65kda in H20 and glyceline and reline. Glyceline is made from 1:2 molar ratio choline chloride and glycerol and r...

Saxs xeuss 2.0

Can anyone recommend slit collimation settings hresol/hiflux for measuring HSA at a sd of 1209mm?

Dammif .log probability

How reliable is the number at the bottom of the dammif .log file , is that suppose to be a percentage decimal?

Re: Hel p with GNOM/Gasbor

Thank you this really helps, but i still have questions. In the distance distribution analysis tab I have total quality estimate which I guess is a percentage value. Guinier Rg/I(0) , p(r) Rc/I(0) and porod volume, what are these values and what should they be. For system I'm using a Xeuss 2.0 by xe...

Help with GNOM/Gasbor

Untitled.png Can someone walk me through the steps of getting data into and out of GNOM and into Gasbor. The samples are of HSA 5mg/ml taken in a xeuss 2.0 beamline at 1209 sd, high resolution for 1200 seconds. The files were circle gathered using foxtrot and then normalized and background subtract...

Guinier parameters

Could someone link me to a detailed explanation of all these parameters, what they do and how they are suppose to be. I'm fairly new to saxs and would like to learn how to use this software.

Primus qt Dammif

After running primus qt and doing a Dammif modeling, what do I do with all those files? I got a folder full of pdb files but do not know what to do with them. It is many files please help me determine what files to open and how. Thank you
