4 domain protein with bunch

#1 Post by gia75 » 2015.05.21 14:41

Hi All,

I have a protein (monomeric) that looks like the image attached.
how do I tell Bunch that the domains 1 and 4 belongs to the same fold and they should not move with respect to each other ?

Thank you for your help,

you can use consorted movement option (group domain), where you would say group domain - "1,4".
If you have X-ray structure of 14, you can also put it in the origin of coordinates, split into 1.pdb and 4.pdb,
then fix both of them. In this way only 2 and 3 will be moving, while modelling missing parts.

HTH,
Alex
