high chi/square values

#1 Post by Beatrasbe » 2016.07.19 11:51

Hello everybody,

I am trying to do a protein reconstruction using Gasbor and I get an extremely high chi-square values (Final Chi^2 against raw data ........................... : 1.459e+8). I have the crystal structure of this protein and I get something reasonable but why do I get so unreasonable chi2 square data? SqF: 0.0680. No sample aggregation and good quality of data.

The experimental errors are way too low. If you had correct experimental errors you'd get a chi-square value close to 1.0.
