PM off

Dear Admins,

why is the PM or E-Mail function turned off, please? Sometimes it might be worth to talk to other users directly.
I would be thankful if you could switch this function on please.

We had several spam attacks through the PM system. It is planned to upgrade to phpBB version 3 and to install better anti-spam modules at some point.
