GAJOE or OLIGOMER?

Linear (OLIGOMER), and non-linear (MIXTURE) analysis, singular value decomposition (SVDPLOT), addition of missing fragments (BUNCH, CORAL), analysis of flexible systems (EOM/RANCH & GAJOE), flexible refinement of high-resolution models (SREFLEX)

GAJOE or OLIGOMER?

#1 Post by prithaghosh » 2019.02.22 18:32

Hello all,

I have a set of 10 pre-selected structures, from which I want to select a sub-set that best explains the experimental SAXS data. I have run GAJOE on them and I have identified a subset of four structures that recur across multiple runs of GAJOE. Should I go ahead and run OLIGOMER on this subset of four structures (and FFMAKER for four components)?

Thank you in advance.

Regards
Pritha

Yes, sure, why not? You could have run FFMAKER/OLIGOMER on all ten of them to begin with.

Thank you for your reply. However, my models are that of RNA and not protein.

That doesn't matter - FFMAKER uses CRYSOL to calculate the intensities.
