January 17, 2010 BIOSAS 2010: Practical Course on Biomacromolecules in Solution Studied by Small-Angle Scattering The practical course will take place at University of Copenhagen, Danmark and in MAX-Lab, Lund, Sweden from January 17 to 22, 2010. This is the last event supported by SAXIER.

May 26, 2009 World's First Remote SAXS Experiment At 12:00 CET on May, 26th, 2009, EMBL Hamburg linked up to the Nanyang Technological University's School of Biological Science in Singapore to conduct the world's first remote synchrotron small-angle X-ray scattering experiment.
February 16, 2009 SAXIER Annual Meeting The annual meeting took place in Liverpool, UK on February 16-17, 2009.
October 19, 2008 EMBO Practical Course on Solution Scattering from Biological Macromolecules The practical course took place at EMBL Hamburg, Germany from October 19 to 26, 2008. 26 participants and 14 speakers from 19 countries took part in the course.
February 15, 2008 SAXIER Annual Meeting The annual meeting took place in Graz, Austria on February 15, 2008.
December 21, 2007 DORIS Shutdown 2008 Due to Petra-III construction work, the DESY DORIS-III ring in Hamburg will be shut down from December 21, 2007 for about 9 months. The operation of all beamlines including X33 (BioSAXS) will be suspended for this period. We expect to resume user operation in late September, 2008.

It was followed by the Workshop on Biomacromolecules in Solution Studied by SAXS.
